Which Way Is Best For You To Start

There are so many different ways out there that people hold their coupons, cut their coupons and organize their coupons...You kinda need to do a trial and error and see which way works best for you..I started with the little accordion file folder (almost the size of an envelope)..I had two..one for MQ's and one for Target coupons..I had the same categories in each..(for those of you that don't know Target will accept MQ's with theirs that you can print off their website)....Now I have outgrown that and moved onto binder #2 (I had a little binder that lasted about a week or two), it's a 1 1/2 inch trapper keeper binder thing that zipper closes..which I love bcuz of the kiddos...I know some people use a big accordion file folder, pull the sheets out, paperclip them together, make a note somewhere on where is what then only pull what they need...to me that's a waste..I have found some really good deals just walking around stores and if i only carried coupons for the things I knew I was buying I would be missing out...

Why Do You Want To Start

I got into this bcuz I saw a blog called "Couponing To Disney" while I was searching saving for Disney World..I wanted to go so bad this year and it just wasn't in the budget..We took the kids last year and said that it would be an every couple a year thing...well I wanted to go, no I needed to go....to most people that sounds really silly, I know, but it's been a rough couple of months..no, nothing super tragic happened..I still have a house, a husband and two wonderful kids...It just seems that every time we took one step forward we get pushed two steps back...Keira was watching the Disney vacation dvd again one day and it just made want to get there..so I decided that I was gonna coupon my way there..I was gonna set the budget, save money and surprise Shane with a trip..(that didn't work out, but it was a good idea)..what started out as a vacation has turned into a challenge, a game, sometimes almost a high...I can't wait to see the register tape and see how much I was able to save and how much I "made" that trip..I started taking the money I saved out of the bank account anyway and putting it into a separate savings account to earn interest..since last year I never would have really used a coupon, I figured this money would have been "spent" anyway...

Like I Really Have Time

With everything that is going on in my life right now, I really don't have time to do another blog, do I? Well tough..I am..I am going on the assumption that my son will eventually GET BETTER and I will have more time..So give me some time to get this as "designed" and pretty as my other one..I will try and keep it updated as much as possible, but please bear with me...Since everyone that "might" follow this knows me, send me a text or an email if I am slacking..lol..Or feel free to post ideas or deals that you have found locally at your stores..as of now everyone that (once again might) follow is in the Houston(ish) area so we all pretty much have the same stores....Good Luck and happy saving
